Return Material Authorization (RMA)
All returns require a valid Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. To initiate a return, please get in touch with our customer service team at 1-888-993-9326 or contact us through our contact form. Our friendly representatives will guide you through the process and provide you with an RMA number and detailed shipping instructions. Returns submitted must have an RMA to be accepted.
Processing Time
Once we receive the returned item, we will process your refund within 10 business days. The refund will be issued in the same manner as your original payment method.
Items Sold as Final Sale
Certain items, such as engines, short blocks, decks, electric parts, and carburetors, are considered final sale and cannot be returned. Please consult our customer service team for assistance before purchasing these items.
Incorrect Item Sent
If you receive the wrong item due to an error on our part, we will gladly provide you with a full refund, including the shipping cost. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we want to ensure you receive the correct product hassle-free.
Customer-Requested Returns (Unused and Undamaged Items Only)
If the return is initiated due to reasons other than an error on our part (e.g., customer preference, ordering the wrong item, or no longer needed), the following policy applies:
- A 25% restocking fee will be charged to cover the costs of processing, inspecting, and restocking the returned item.
- The return shipping cost will be the customer's responsibility.
Please note that items used or damaged cannot be returned under this policy. The returned item must be in its original condition, including all packaging and materials, to qualify for a refund minus the restocking fee and return shipping cost.
Damaged Item Policy
We strive to deliver all items in perfect condition, but we understand that sometimes damages may occur during transit. If you receive an item that is damaged, please follow these steps to claim a refund:
- Document the Damage: Take clear and detailed photos of both the damaged item and its original packaging (box, wrapping, etc.). Ensure the damage is clearly visible in the images.
- Obtain Carrier Report: Contact the carrier company (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS) immediately upon receiving the damaged item and file a report for the damaged delivery. Obtain a written report or reference number from the carrier.
- Contact Us: Send an email to sales@kawasakioempart.com within three days of receiving the damaged item. Include the following information:
- Photos of the damaged item and packaging.
- The written report or reference number provided by the carrier.
- Your order number and contact details.
- A brief description of the damage.
Review Process: Our team will review your claim and the provided documentation. If your claim is approved, we will process a refund for the purchase price of the damaged item and any applicable shipping fees. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Important Notes:
- Claims for damaged items must be submitted within three days of receiving the delivery.
- We reserve the right to request additional information or documentation to process your claim.
- Refunds are subject to approval based on the documented damage and carrier report.

Engine-Powered Equipment
Federal shipping regulations prohibit returning engine-powered equipment that has been gassed or oiled. If such products encounter issues, they should be taken to an authorized service center for warranty-covered repair.
Factory Direct Items
Products shipped directly from the manufacturer may be eligible for return with manufacturer approval. If approved, you might be responsible for round-trip shipping costs and a restocking fee of up to 25%. Some products may have shipping costs included in the retail price.
Canceled Orders
Orders that have been shipped cannot be canceled. If you refuse delivery of a shipped order, you will be responsible for outbound and return shipping costs.
Built-to-Order Items
Items specially built and shipped by the manufacturer are non-returnable. Due to their unique nature, these items are not stocked in our warehouse.
Installed Items
Once an item has been installed, it cannot be returned. Any issues arising from improper installation are the responsibility of the purchaser or installer. Warranty claims may be possible, subject to the manufacturer's discretion.
Damaged or Defective Products
Inspect your items before signing the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you suspect damage, note “Possible Freight Damage“ on the receipt. For defective products, we recommend testing within 15 days of receipt. Our customer service or the manufacturer's service department can provide technical assistance.
